I’m welcoming you to my new home.
I didn’t realize that before, I thought a home was a place that you come back to where people greet you with open arms and love, but it doesn’t have to be.
For me, home is where I can find more people that don’t try to convince themselves that they believe things that they don’t–or that they understand things that they don’t. It’s not much. I have nothing to show for it, to prove that I have a home. It’s so insignificant, so not enough, but more than I knew I had.
So please enjoy your stay, because you’re home.
